1. Introduction

Fang Wu was born in Beijing, China on Jan 21, 1980, roughly 15 billion years after the Big Bang [2]. Both his parents are physicists. His brother Zhao Wu is a computer engineer. He married Yun Zhou on March 31, 2007.

2. The Problem

Fang currently works at the Information Dynamics Lab of HP. He periodically enjoys rigorous analytical reasoning and quick data muddling. His research interests include social networks, mechanism design, stochastic modeling, and the comparative study of western and Japanese detective fiction. He likes all kinds of mathematical puzzles and interview problems.

3. The Solution

Fang's scientific publications can be found in his CV. Some of his past Chinese articles caused him endless trouble but eventually sustained public censorship.

4. Possible Extensions

Fang spends most of his spare time studying detective novels, playing badminton, hacking Perl/Ruby on one of his Macs, and/or watching videos. He occasionally plays his Nintendo DS Lite.

5. Conclusion

FANG = Fang's A Nerdy Geek
